Just Another Tuesday!

Gaius' First Kiss!!! He loves to give hugs and kisses (he thinks its what you do since mommy, daddy, and Gideon give him so many hugs and kisses throughout the day).

We took our new family photo at the Birds house (I needed Naomi to take the photo) so we decided to add a little girl to the family--hay we don't have a girl yet so we will borrow one!

Gaius and Lissy (his girlfriend) watching a movie in a box.

Dad and Gideon hanging out after work at the Birds House.

Gideon's Two New Teeth!

Gideon got two new teeth a last week.

Is'nt He SOO Cute!

Gideon is almost 8 months and boy is he coming along. He stands up holding onto the coffee table. He is almost ready to crawl but for now he rolls scoots and maneuvers to yet to things. He talks almost as much as Gaius though we can't understand any of the lovely noises he makes! He is desperate to play with Gaius and do everything he is doing. Gaius and Gideon just love to play together. Gaius is talking so much and we can understand more and more each day. He has reached the, "What's this? What's that?" over and over and over and over again:) We are having so much fun with these two boys and are loving them more and more each day.

Yummy Oreo's! Daddy took these photos and I could not resist posting them.

KFC Sunday School BBQ

A couple in our church who own a farm, Colin and Fiona, invited the whole church up to their big farm barn to have a BBQ. It was a great thing that they had such a lovely barn because it poured rain. The Sunday school kids had a great time, they even sang two songs for everyone (This Little Light of Mine, and I'm in the Lord's Army), played games, and the boys had fun with the soccer ball in a cow pen! It was a wonderful time of fellowship for the whole church.

Daddy's Blog Post

On Thursday night I teach a ladies bible study at 7.30pm and Andrew stays home and finishes putting the boys to bed. I arrived home from bible study last week and Andrew told me, "I took two photos for the blog tonight." So here they are...the two boys--so cute. Each night after the kids are ready for bed they have to sit on the couch or respective laps and we read the bible, sing and pray together. They also get to ready other books if there is time. Fun, Fun, Fun!

Play Time

I asked Gaius to get a few toys for Gideon, so he brought the whole tub and dumped it on the kitchen floor. They had fun playing to gather.
Yes, I do take a lot of photos of children in our bath tub:) Which is probably a result of the fact that a huge portion of a mothers day is dressing, undressing, and bathing children!
One of my girlfriends came over for the the afternoon and evening and boy life is easier with two women in the house. The last photos are of Gideon all dressed for bed, so cute!

Kindergarten Graduation

My adorable nephew Chaz graduated from kindergarten recently and my sweet sister sent me the invitation and his baseball card. When I opened the letter up and saw these two items my heart skipped a beat with both joy and sadness. When you live away from home there are moments when you love were you are at and others where your heart sinks with "homesickness." For me it is normally moments like these that I miss home.

I just loved this base ball card (for those of you who don't know in the US kids and adults often collect base ball cards with a photo of the player and his vital stats on the back)and had to share it with the blogger world.
