Where Did the Last Six Months Go!

By the above title one might expect to hear a long lengthy update as to what the Matthews' Family has been up...and if per chance that was what you were hoping for, well, brace for disappointment.

The last six months seem like a haze and posting on my blog has not even come to my mind, save those moments of guilt when I recall the fact that I simply have not been blogging. Perhaps feeling guilt for not posting is a bit prideful, thinking that someone is actually reading this and upset by the fact that they have not been receiving detailed accounts of the goings on in our family. None the less I feel a responsibility to chronicle our life on this blog, perhaps the twenty first century mother's scrapbook is a blog, and if it is mine is dreadfully behind.

The only thing I really feel like recording in my digital world wide public scrapbook is...

I am tired and should go to bed! I have had a huge day and all that I will record of it is that, I bought, steamed, and ate my first live lobster today. Mind you it was dead when I ate it! The best part of which is that my dad was there to hold the pinches and protect my $15,000 finger! Not that my dear husband could not have done just as good of a job at hero but that for the rest of my life I will remember those fun moments of my dad helping me steam my first live lobsters. As I sat across from him at the table elbows deep in delicious drippings no matter what the future holds I will take with me this memory.

Yes I know I did not even mention my kids but ofcourse the only photo I have is one of the kids.
