Easter weekend started on Saturday morning. We went to the local neighbourhood celebration filled with face painting, bouncy castle, a clown making balloon creatures, and the kids got to do two huge Easter egg hunts. It was a lot of fun.
Sunday morning the kids got to open their Easter baskets, or this year buckets, which was a lot of fun - but too early in the morning...six am!
Sunday Service was a lot of fun with over 100 people at church. The kids took part in the worship and I ended up having to help in the nursery because we had so many kids (great problem to have!!) Following the service was a fellowship meal. We enjoyed the remainder of the day relaxing together at home.

Family Easter photo 2009, the boys had their kilts on and they looks so cute. People had a hard time telling who was who as they ran around the church in their matching outfits.

The kids had a great children's moment - they got to give flowers to the ladies.

The kids sang a song at the beginning of the service.

The Easter bunny knew that we are a house of boys, and buckets full of goodies was a bit more of a fit than baskets.

The Easter Bunny came to our house on Easter Morning to give gifts to help celebrate Jesus being risen today!

It took Gideon a while to figure it all out but he did get a couple of eggs in the end.

Triumph!

Gaius got lots of eggs.

The BIG Easter Egg Hunt. Once they said, "Go" it was all over in a matter of a minute.

There was face painting, or in Gideon's case hand painting. Both the boys got bunny rabbits.

Gaius was very excited about the bouncy castle.
